This homeowner was dealing with annoying ice dams in the winter time. Poor attic insulation was causing this to occur on their roof. Primary Home Improvements insulated the space with R-49 cellulose to create an energy-efficient and functional space.
Primary Home Improvements removed old, degraded fiberglass and debris from this attic in order to produce a clean slate. Once cleaned, the attic crew blew-in densely packed cellulose insulation across the entire attic floor. This helped to achieve a temperature controlled and protected home.
A homeowner had an old home located in Euclid, OH that had zero attic insulation. Primary Home Improvements blew-in R-49 TruSoft cellulose to transform the home. TruSoft is densely packed and will protect the home from air infiltration. A fiberglass dam was also installed around the attic hatch so that the homeowner can still access the space when needed!
Rotted, old and settled fiberglass was preventing this home from being properly insulated. Before installing Tru-Soft cellulose, installers extracted all of the old debris and insulation to create a blank canvas. That way, Tru-Soft cellulose can work to properly insulate this home.
Air sealing is important in stopping drafts from entering the home through gaps, cracks, recession lights and other areas of the attic. Installers at Primary Home Improvements first extracted the old fiberglass insulation and then worked to air seal it using foam packs. These spray foam packs permanently seal the area and prevent air infiltration. Air sealing before blowing in new cellulose insulation set this attic up for success!
