Solution
On the day of the install, the attic crew arrived and performed an initial walkthrough with the customer. This included explaining the process again and exactly what they planned to do. The installers then began extracting all the trash and old insulation. They used a machine and also carried out the trash and insulation until the whole space was empty. Once clear, this left them with a great canvas to air-seal the area. Air-sealing is an important step before re-insulating because it's an added layer of protection against drafts. The final step was then to blow-in Tru-Soft cellulose at a high R-Value across this very large attic floor. This attic was a whopping 29,484 Bd. Ft. The attic crew crushed this big project and fully insulated every inch with the best product on the market.
